Applerouth Tutoring was founded in 2001 by Dr. Jed Applerouth with a clear mission: develop a smarter approach to tutoring. Our curriculum and approach come from a deep understanding of educational psychology. We go beyond the content, leveraging the latest research in student cognition, memory, test-anxiety, self-efficacy, and motivation to help students achieve a higher level of success in school, on tests, and in life. Applerouth products and services include test prep (SAT, ACT, PSAT, GRE, SSAT/ISEE, and more) to academic tutoring for K-12 through college and executive function coaching. We’ve grown into a national organization with more than 200 tutors and offices in Atlanta, DC, New York, Chicago, Seattle, and Houston. Our students come to us from all over the world with a range of academic and admissions goals. We’re proud to offer a wide variety of options for your students, from group classes to individual tutoring to self-prep. Our flexible platforms - both in-person and online - allow us to give all of our students the signature Applerouth experience: innovative content taught by a skilled instructor.
